Ancient herbal wisdom in a modern, easy-to-use dropper.

All tinctures are crafted in small batches, alcohol-based with either local honey or homemade hydrosol using fresh plant matter (or maybe even both) which is called a spirited brew. Using alcohol enables us to effectively extract a wide range of constituents from certain plants. It also means that tinctures will have a longer shelf life (alcohol prevents the growth of bacteria and inhibits enzyme activity). Tinctures are easy to use and to carry around as you only need small amounts per label (generally a few drops up to 2-3 teaspoons per day). Most tinctures are made with fresh plant matter for maximum potency.

If using an alcohol base tincture bothers you then consider a tea form or simply schedule an appt with me or another herbalist trained to assist you with finding another safe alternative like glycerin or vinegar base and ensure that they do not interfere with current medications or cause side effects as well as finding the perfect blend for your needs.
